We are dedicated to developing critical care services in disadvantaged regions of the world in accordance with internationally recognized standards. Our work focuses on two areas of specialization: improving perioperative care for patients — especially children — with congenital or acquired heart disease (Cardiac Critical Care), and enhancing the early detection and targeted intensive care (including safe anaesthesia) for patients of all ages who are in a serious or life-threatening condition (Emergency Critical Care).

To achieve sustainable structural progress, our efforts — alongside the provision of medical assistance — are anchored in knowledge transfer, the establishment of local training facilities, and the promotion of applied research projects.
